The applicant will work on the “FIT FIRST FOR ALL” project (supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation), which is a collaboration between the Danish Centre for Motivation and Behaviour Science (DRIVEN), the research division Sport and Health Sciences, and the project. In many schools around Denmark, FIT FIRST FOR ALL is a school-based sport intervention program for kids ages 6 to 16 that places a strong emphasis on pleasure. Reviewing the literature, analyzing quantitative data, and writing up papers for global peer-reviewed publications will be the candidate’s main responsibilities. As a member of the larger FIT FIRST FOR ALL team, the candidate will also be required to contribute to data collecting and knowledge exchange initiatives.

Working on “Mobilising Post-Anthropocentric Climate Action: A New Root Narrative” (PACA), a project of the SDU Climate Elite Centre, will be the postdoc’s responsibility. PACA aims to map post-anthropocentric social theories that question the relationship between the environment and society and look into how prevalent these views are. It evaluates the degree to which these behaviors and convictions might serve as the foundation for a new system of production and consumption, and it discusses the function of universities as brokers of the burgeoning post-anthropocentrism. The goal of this project is to establish itself as a global focus for the study of post-anthropocentric consumption and production systems as the cornerstone of a sustainable economy. In order to conceptualize a post-anthropocentric ontology in social movements, communities, and businesses, the Post Doc will concentrate on deconstructing post-anthropocentric philosophy.

The goal of the postdoc position is to create in-operando characterization methods that can characterize the electrical and microstructural properties of organic thin-film devices while they are being mechanically stretched. These methods will then be used to create more stretchable electronic devices. This entails the characterization of the organic thin films using synchrotron X-rays along with electrical transport studies and scanning probe microscopy.

The chosen candidate will be expected to carry out research for the Interreg Deutschland-Danmark 6a program-supported project PlasTrack, a technology platform for tracking micro- and nano-plastics. The candidate will collaborate closely with the other PlastTrack partners while working at the Danish Molecular Biomedical Imaging Center’s Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. PlastTrack’s main objective is to work with business partners to create a technical platform that automates the tracking and digital analysis of micro- and nano-plastics.

To fill a three-year position involving the thorough investigation of the autophagic pathway that specifically transports intracellular cholesterol utilizing cutting-edge bioimaging and proteomics, we are looking for a highly motivated researcher. The chosen candidate will spend most of their time working in Associate Professor Jonathan Brewer’s group at the University of Southern Denmark (Odense), closely collaborating with Professor Martin Rssel Larsen. They will also play a key role in an interdisciplinary group run by the University of Copenhagen’s Kim Rewitz lab.

The postdoctoral study will look at the cutting-edge methods of producing humanistic knowledge that the center supports, including collaborative research, problem-based learning, and transformative knowledge. The postdoc is required to 1) map best practice approaches; 2) develop and carry out a standalone research project in the field; and 3) participate in center activities and events. A member of the first research team, the postdoc will participate in group discussions, research projects, and outreach initiatives at both the University of Southern Denmark and the University of Copenhagen. The postdoc must reside in Denmark for the duration of their employment. Depending on what is best, either the University of Southern Denmark or the University of Copenhagen will hire the chosen applicant.

Numerous expansive, interdisciplinary research projects and initiatives in the humanities and social sciences, including Futures Challenges in the Nordics in Finland, UiO: Nordic in Norway, and the ReNEW-network, have aimed to assess the unique advantages and difficulties of the Nordic region in a wider context in recent years. The postdoc is required to 1) map the current state of the art with an emphasis on the study of Nordic social structures; 2) carry out a personal research project in this field; and 3) participate in center activities and events. The successful candidates will conduct research and teach in one or more of the focus areas (described below) with an emphasis on computational design and digital fabrication. They will also work together on research projects involving advanced computational modeling, robotic/digital fabrication, and material innovation with applications in the fields of architecture, engineering, and construction. The chosen individuals will work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment and join a rapidly expanding, design-driven research center. The growth of CREATE’s educational offerings in the MSc and BSc programs for civil and architectural engineering will be closely related to research activities.

The candidate will be required to carry out neuroscience-related research with an emphasis on comprehending the function of the innate immune system in cardiometabolic risk factors for ischemic stroke. To find new therapeutic targets against the inflammatory response, the applicant will be required to investigate the possibility of modifying the central and peripheral innate immune response following ischemic stroke. The postdoctoral fellow will be in charge of the project’s design, as well as data collection, preparation, analysis, publication writing, and other dissemination-related tasks.
