(01) Postdoctoral Fellowship Position in Biophysics:
Postdoc Fellowship Position summary/title: Research Fellow in Biophysics
The project’s goal is to create a revolutionary protocell system employing cutting-edge DNA and RNA nanotechnology. The protocell system will be able to interface with the outside world and perform higher-level operations such as homeostasis and cell memory. By emulating emergent behaviour such as communication and information processing, this system will shed light on biology’s underlying principles. It will also be a one-of-a-kind engineering platform for biological applications such as targeted or environment-specific medication delivery.
Deadline: 29 May 2023
(02) Postdoctoral Fellowship in Media & Communications:
Postdoc summary/title: Media & Communications

Postdoc Fellowship Position title: Research Fellow in RNA Biology / Virology
The Academy of Medical Sciences will fund the initiative, which will investigate the role of RNA alterations such as m6A in coronavirus infections. This is an amazing chance to work on a developing topic with translational potential in the setting of human disease. The study will use a combination of advanced RNA methodologies and well-established virology tools to investigate the molecular mechanisms behind the relevance of m6A, including viral RNA decay and translation. It will include work with typical cold-causing coronaviruses as well as work with SARS-CoV-2 under high-containment (CL3) conditions. Because we are a new research team with a collaborative mindset, there will be opportunities to obtain expertise with various virus diseases (for example, HSV-1, HCMV) and current lab studies.
