New Time Schedule Notification for Schools in Punjab 2024 has been announced today by the School Education Department SED Punjab Govt. The School Education Department SED a public sector department in Punjab that works under the Punjab Govt. It looks after the matters of Schools. Currently, a wave of hot weather has come that is alarming for people especially children who are under matric. So, the School Education Department SED Govt. of Punjab has announced Summer Vacations on Saturday 1st June 2024. But, before that, SED has also changed time schedule for Schools. The time schedule for Schools on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday is from 7:00 AM to 11:30 AM, and on Friday is 7:00 AM to 10:30 AM. This is mandatory for both private and public sector schools. This will be valid from 18 May to 31 May 2024. After that, Summer vacations will be observed in Punjab.
According to Notification, the Following Precautions should also be observed by the Heads of the Schools:
- Availability of a water cooler shall be ensured.
- All fans should be in working conditions.
- No student in any school throughout the province shall be made to sit in the open space/lawn of the school during summer time.
